February 18, 2010

I worked with Jackson for about 30 minutes. He did really well. We mostly worked on the lunge line, working on endotapping to get a better balance. I am new to seeing what is collection and what isn’t. I was watching for him to lift the base of his neck while keeping his head at a certain height. By that I mean not dragging on the ground! He had been doing that all on his own.

In the video, I am sure I should have clicked sooner some of the time. I wasn’t feeling great that day and I think it really effected my concentration. So, sorry about that. I tried to show how I was tapping in time with his front leg. If I get time, I will make another video with it slowed down so perhaps I can explain it better.

For those of you who know it better, I am happy to hear when you think he was round, lifting the base of his neck, or moving nicely!

I hope the video helps a little.
