I didn't really have a training "session"
with Jackson today. I helped my dad work on
our automatic waterer which is in the
horse's paddock. So I brought the clicker
and a bag of treats. It was mostly just
playing and rewarding what Jackson offered.
I did have my whip with me to help keep the
horses at bay. They want to eat my dad's
hat, slobber on his tools, and mostly make a
nuisance of themselves. I thought of a new
trick to teach Jackson. Well... it isn't new
and, apparently Jackson already knows it. It
is called: "Steel the trainers whip!" He
tried taking it out of my hand. Mostly when
he caught me off guard. He didn't go
anywhere with it, he just wanted to chew on.
I think it would be fun to have him do it on
command.
Jackson loves to park out and do front
crunches. He has learned how to lean back
while just standing still. I think that this
is because of the sitting down and front
crunches that we have done. I am also going
to work on getting a nice obeisance or
circus bow. I just have to teach him to duck
his head and lean back.
Not much else, just Jackson doing some
clowning around. It was fun though.
